Since the emergence of social media platforms, the shape of elections has changed around the world. Social media platforms have imposed restrictions on political advertisements and political content. In Palestine, this is the first time that we are witnessing elections in the era of social media, and for this there are many caveats and concerns that we need to be aware of before the start of the electoral process. For example, how will the Israeli occupation use social media platforms to influence the Palestinian elections? How can you reduce hate speech and misleading news during the election period?
