Shatha Odeh is the General Director of Health work committees (HWC), she holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and M.S. degrees in Adult Health Nursing from the University of America and Gender and Development M.A. degree from Birzeit University. She has a diploma in Continuing Education from Bethlehem University and she is an Emergency Medical Technician instructor certified by American Heart Association. Ms. Odeh has more than 17+ years of consulting and management experience with international businesses and non-profit organizations in the fields of health care, advocacy & networking, and quality management for health GOs and NGOs. She also has substantial experience in researching, writing and speaking on international affairs. She serves as the president of the Palestinian
NGO Network (PNGO) and she’s a member in the Arab Network for Gender Studies and Research (ANGED), the Arab International Women’s Forum, and the Women General Union. Ms. Shatha Odeh
published and conducted many researches on gender equality, human rights, women affairs, and reproductive health rights. She excels at collaborating in teams of cross-functional and multi-cultural
professionals through her inclusive and everyday leadership style and by exploiting high emotional intelligence, interpersonal and organization skills.
